Enrollment FAQ
Is your site secure for online payments?
We outsource credit/debit card processing to Stripe, allowing students to make secure payments from practically anywhere in the world. Stripe is one of the world's largest and most secure payment-processing companies.
What if my school is not listed?
Double-check the correct state/country, and confirm with your Director that:
- They completed registration for your location and received the confirmation email.
- Schools aren't available online until at least one business day after the Director registers.
- You're searching the correct school name.
What if I get a strange error message when I try to register?
Our tech team wants to know — email a screenshot. (PC: PrintScreen or Alt+PrintScreen, then Ctrl+V to paste. Mac: Cmd+Shift+3 for full screen or Cmd+Shift+4 for a selection. iPhone: lock + volume-up. Android: Volume Down + Power.)
Can I enroll as an individual if there's no school in my area?
Our focus is group study with your church family, which keeps college-level classes affordable. You can request a free DVD promotional packet — only 10 people are needed to start, at no cost to the church. Many other Bible institutes offer individual programs; we do not at this time.
What if I don't know my student ID number?
Contact your Director first (it's likely on past paperwork). If not, contact the Registrar's office: sharon@fbiclass.com or (318) 343-4140.
I finished enrollment — how do I pay my remaining balance?
Go to the portal and log in to pay your invoice.
I finished enrollment — when do I get my books?
Materials are sent to your local Director. If you enrolled early, your Director should have them on the first night of class.
Should I enroll as a Group Class student or Online Only?
Group Class is the default: you attend most classes in person with your local cohort, pay the standard tuition, and may make up to 50% of classes online or by DVD if you miss a session. Online Only is a separate enrollment category for students who view all classes online; it adds $60/semester and exempts you from the group-attendance requirement. You choose at registration — the category cannot be switched mid-semester.
What happens if I miss a Group Class?
Group Class students may make up to 50% of classes online or by DVD (where DVDs are available). You'll still need to attend at least half of all classes in person with the group to meet the attendance requirement. If you anticipate viewing more than half of the classes online, enroll in the Online Only category instead.
When do classes begin?
The starting week varies by location — contact your local Director. Fall classes begin between August 10 and August 24 (Monroe: the first full week of August). Spring classes begin between January 10 and January 24 (Monroe: the first full week of January). See the Calendar page for deadlines.
Can I still enroll after classes have started?
You can enroll up through Class 2 of the semester (online enrollment closes at the end of week 2). After that, the semester is closed to new enrollment — we'll invite you to enroll for the next semester instead.
Can I audit a course instead of taking the tests?
Yes. Auditing students attend class and complete homework + attendance on the online Roll, but skip the tests. Audit completion can qualify you for the Certificate of Completion (with 75%+ attendance and homework across all six semesters) or the Letter of Recognition (with 75%+ attendance). You mark yourself as auditing at the end of the semester — if you take the test and don't pass, we automatically switch you to audit status, so there's no penalty for trying.
What if I need to withdraw from the semester?
Your local Director files an online Withdrawal Form. Your balance or refund is calculated based on the payment chart as of the date the form is filed — not the last class you attended. After Class 8, the full balance is owed and no refunds are issued. Students who stop attending without filing the Withdrawal Form remain responsible for the full balance.
